In 1997 Masai Real Estate was formed by Mziray I. Mohamed and Mtaita Focus Masika with a vision to establish a real estate firm. The quest for Masai's excellence in customer service begun as a result of Mziray Mohamed's desire to radically change the way real estate agents conducted their business in Tanzania.

In the past, clients interested in real estate often recieved inefficient and unreliable service, rarely did they recieve published bronchures or advertisments with detailed description, and the prices of properties were never listed for customer review.
